KBS64 (63B?) – A Poko-chin Epic of a Lifetime
posted in Prime Cuts |This one is long folks. Between being drinking while talking about drinking and recapping the romantic things to do, this one goes the limit and over. But you learn how to say metal dick in Japanese… and no it’s not metaru dikku.
SHOW NOTES here. Left click to view.
Here is the video of the Kanamara Matsuri (Penis Fest) and links to two other vids. Notice the ladies carrying the penile omikoshi (portable shrine). Just the way it should be.

Regarding the discussion on capital punishment…. One of your arguments against it was the need to look deeper into social issues such as education and economics which may effect the “root causes of crime”. Why should it matter if a murderer comes from a deprived or affluent background? If they are educated or not? I don’t think we should divide up the morals of a society just because a society itself is fractured. Even in a utopia, greed, rage, and (for lack of a better word) “evil” would still exist. These are parts of human nature and cannot be eradicated by careful social planning. Don’t get me wrong, I myself am against the death penalty, but not because the people who commit murder/rape deserve our sympathy.

Not from what I’ve heard. However, apparently mini vaginas are happily sold at the Kana Mara Matsuri.

Woah, T. Small world. That YouTube video is from a friend of mine here in Tokyo (Sachama) – best friend of the girl I’m staying with. Wicked small world eh? I thought I recognized the audio when I heard it in your podcast. Very cool

Annie,
A girl- excuse me- a woman!
Excitement aside, let me say I agree with you for the most part. I rambled a bit and suffered a lack of articulation, but I meant that we should look into the socio-economic background of crime as one step (of many) to prevent crimes before they occur. Maybe I’m misunderstanding you, but I’d disagree that good economy and strong social infrastructure has no effect on crime. Those are very important factors. Ok, the dark side of human nature will always exist, but that doesn’t mean we can’t do anything to promote good behavior and the lighter side of human nature. I was responding to the argument of the death penalty as an effective deterent. I wasn’t saying killers deserve our sympathy or that we should spend a lot of effort trying to rehabilitate them.

Nice log-in name, by the way. Still a girl, I hope.
