Yo. I haven’t figured out how to find people on twitter. Unless your intention was not to share your username. Then it’s cool.

Also, I should’ve said welcome back a long time ago (sorry). But you have filled a gap in my life (too gay?). Maybe you remember me (from the mini-interview thing for my failed magazine) and some emails long ago.

Thanks a lot for talking about the scholarship….I have had a hard time finding out about people’s personal experiences with it! Sounds like a good deal!

Grr… the Gmail filter marked the comments for approval email as spam. Good thing I gave the spam folder the once over.

Don, I knew from twitter that you’d contacted me, but was confused until I saw your comment. Happy to fill gaps… er… you know what I mean. Too bad about the magazine. I enjoyed the one issue that was made. Maybe give it another go? Rethink things, try another angle? I’m in.

David, you’re welcome. If you have any more questions about the scholarship let me know.

The link to the moonmasters on your show note is messed up. The correct one is http://www.mickaloha.com/themoonmasters/.

You don’t enjoy golfing sites in Spanish?

    Thanks K-Gun.

there’s lots of people at my school also on mombusho (sadly, I aint one of ‘em). They went through a similar process in applying at the consulate at home, and interview process and all. However, none of them spoke japanese. So, in addition to waiving 2 years tuition, a monthly stipend of 170,000 yen, they also sent ‘em to Japan 6 months before school started to enroll them in Japanese language school.

I felt so screwed after I came, even though my tuition is also waived, and I’m getting monthly stipend (albeit it half the size, and I have to keep reapplying for it every 5 months or so)

  7. Rich Says:

    hmmm..I sound a bit spoiled in that last comment, don’t I? :)

  8. terrandabo Says:

Naw, you don’t sound spoiled. You’re just mad about being screwed and that’s understandable.

As for the Japanese ability, all I can say is that in my case later someone from the review team pointed out to me that they were impressed by my Japanese. So, I assumed that’s what got me in. Who knows… it was probably my dashing looks. Although I’m sure you’re pretty too Rich. ;-)

Hey, thanks for another great show :) Added you in twitter (through ApocD’s twitter in the moon masters site), hope you you don’t mind.

Keep trying with the ladies, you never know when it starts working out (geez look at me, typical “do as I say, not as I do”).
